John studied in Central St Martins: Fine Art Ceramics in the late 60s. Locally he is well known as Head of the Expressive Arts Faculty at. St Bartholomews School till 2006. On retirement, he joined Open Studios WBNH in 2007 and he has chaired Open Studios WBNH since 2014.
